Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Mykola Tomenko stresses that he did not participate in voting for the bill "On Principles of the State Language Policy". He informed about it today during the briefing at the Parliament.
Mykola Tomenko stressed that all constitutional and procedural norms were grossly violated while adopting this bill. "It is for the first time in the history of Ukraine that someone voted with the card of the Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine when the rostrum was blocked," said M. Tomenko.
Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of the Parliament informed that he would address the law enforcement bodies in this regard and demand to investigate the illegal use of his deputy card.
